So, I'm having a little issue with 2 of my firesticks, the app it's not showing the ic_launcher or banner i added, weird thing is that I have that issue only with my firesticks, all good with one tivo stream 4k and onn media player, any ideas ? This is the icon I'm getting

If its showing an image, you will have missed an image in the app. An image Can't show if its not there..

I’m pretty sure I didn’t missed an image, but how can you explain this issue is only happening in firesticks, and not in android phones, tablets, my tivo 4K streams is good also

decompiled the app again and search for ic_launcher and for icon.png and banner

make sure they are changed in drawable aswell as drawable-xxxxx folders

Did that 3 times! changed all banner.png, ic_launcher.png and logp.png
But whats really weird here is that my logo shows in my phone, in my tivo, but not on 2 of my firesticks, firesticks shows the other icon, same app

Just changing banner and icon in the res/drawable os not enough at least four other locations to change

Firestick has cached previous app with same package? If this is the case it will clear itself in time

Because certain launcher images are for certain devices. Can almost guarantee that if you search launcher that image will still be in the app somewhere as there's quite a few to edit. Check the 5 mipmap folders first.

Yeah I never read it properly. Do as Ian says. Also check the manifest and will tell you if they have redirected the ic_launcher to something else.

Mipmap folders is almost certain your problem as banner and app icon is held in these folder

any ides on a working panel? have tried this one, the v3 panel posted in this thread, and also the appsnscripts mega panel, having no joy at all,app just sticks on the logging in circle.
