i have been trying to do this for mounths now and followed everything that it says and still get the same message

having issues with searching on the apk
if i search:
For Name:
res/values/strings.xml ( i can find this)

For ART:
Search:
https://appsnscripts.com/fcdimages (can not find this but found https://yourpanellink.com/fcd28/images)
Replace with: https://yourpanellink/images

For RSS:
Search: https://yourpanellink/api/rss.php (can not find this but found https://yourpanellink.com/fcd28/api/rss.php)
Replace With: https://yourpanellink/api/rss.php

To link panel visit:
https://yourpanellink/api/url.php
copy text
paste in smali/masterclient/ApiClient.smali - Line 107 (managed to find this and swapped)

I have found many https://yourpanellink.com/fcd28 within it also did find a https://realmofapknpanels.com/fcd28/images/ad2.png in smali/com/cat/dog/player/apps/Contraints.smali line 59 not sure if this also needs to be changed.

Could someone let me know where i am going wrong here please?

Fcd28 is the folder on your host you have the panel files in change to folder name you have on your host

Yes mate i go that. but what i am postig is my findings from within the APK that was included in the panel/apk folder and the instructions of what to find was wrong and those were what i found in order to fix the issue

OK i have now managed to get this to work do the following edits in the included APK:

For Name change:
res/values/strings.xml

For ART:
Search: https://yourpanellink.com/fcd28/images
Replace with: https://yourhosturl/yourfolder/images

For RSS:
Search: https://yourpanellink.com/fcd28/api/rss.php
Replace With: https://yourhosturl/yourfolder/api/rss.php

Also do the search for:
Search: https://realmofapknpanels.com/fcd28/images/ad2.png
Replace with: https://yourhosturl/yourfolder/images/ad2.png

To link panel visit:
https://yourhosturl/yourfolder/api/url.php
copy text
paste in smali/masterclient/ApiClient.smali - Line 107

There's a funny bug with this app. Everything runs perfect for days on end. But if the device disconnects from wifi (say like during a power outage), after a reconnect to wifi, the app just gets stuck and flickers on FCD screen. Only way to fix it, is to clear app data and put in login credentials all over again. Sometimes have to uninstall and then reinstall. Happens on my Shield and on my mother's Onn 4k box... both running Android TV.
