Try this... open your panel in a Web browser and select every option in the menu once. Then launch your apk. Enter customer number 1 and now your portals should show and no config error. This will work providing your edits are correct in the apk.

Some info that may help others... I got a parse error when trying to install the APK, i used apk editor (common edit) and changing the target sdk version from 30 down to 29 let me install without problem. I'm on android 11
