It wont open on phone, but you can still install and edit the apk with APK Editor on an android phone. I was able do all editing on phone and the final signed apk is what is running smoothly on Onn box so far.

you must not have it pointing to the sports.php/sport.php in the api folder then pal

Thought everything was fine with all changes I made in APK Editor, but it turns out I am getting the Play Protect harmful app message.

I tried using NP manager and the various kill signature options (not sure if that's the right approach), but it breaks the app. Any tips for a newbie?

Google updated url for play protect. It's effecting lots of apps

From the device you mean right? Couldn't find it on this Onn box I'm using to test. Trying to see if there's anything I can do to the app build.

If it was just on the initial install that would be ok, but it keeps coming up on the device.

Thanks, think I found the setting, on Onn box at least!

Settings > Device Preferences > Security & restrictions > Verify apps (turn off toggle)

First time newbie attempt, having an issue locating the URL noted in the Readme to change. I unpacked the apk with APK Studio and then did a search of the project for the URL listed. It came back with no results? What Resource or where do I find this url to change to my panel?

go into your device settings and clear data then fire the app back up and re login

feels like I'm almost there.. I update the URLs and have the dns installed in the panel, I installed the modified APK to my Shield Pro (tube design) and entered info, it looks like it starts to process the playlist then just crashes out back to the home screen.. did I miss something?

Ran into this issue as well. I loved the app otherwise, now trying version from eggzie to compare, but will take time to determine if that one is epg issue free (i.e. no epg information after 1-3 weeks). I will report back on this post.

There all the same with regards to epg issues just a simple clear data and log back in solves it bit annoying for customers but only downside really
