i think it would of been better if the .gif was added to the app instead of the panel then maybe it would work on all devices pal but we would need some wizzkid to make that a possibility lol

ahh my bad it didnt work in my emulator would not pull links so i thought i should check on my Shield and worked first time
this is just a test , would like to know if possible what dimension does the gif have to be to fill the screen or is it that size ?

Around about 350 pixels is the height in-between 700 and 800 for the width. Still working on getting it precise

it dont pull the background on the 4k firestick pal

need to have android 9 OS or higher to view gif from the panel
the older 4k firestick using lower android OS
the newer sticks and cube using android 9

i am not sure what i am doing wrong.
Trying recompile using

apk editor(N20 Ultra) & Emulator (MEMU) and also tried apk easy tool in pc.

The apk doesnt want to install .. Not sure what i am doing wrong .

Can anyone help ?

More than one way to skin a cats arse as they say
I had a little play with this today and quite like the results , I think the trick is while using gif backgrounds is to keep them simple ?

so if you use an emulator it needs to be android 9 or higher , the app works perfectly fine if you have not got v9 just no animation,
this is menu which i used to do the edits with as i am used to it.

So i looked around for an emulator running v9 and NOX uses it , exact same app as above only now you can see the background

thank you got it working with the proper sdk changes , it worked on n20 ultra.. I will try the firestick later on today .

I uploaded a gif to where instructions say and renamed it but not appearing it still shows background as 404 sorry. Any help please
