Anyway, yeah. First part is make sure app & panel are made for each other. If they were posted together, which is always nice, then half the battle is already won.
I tried to find FTGs post, but couldn't. So, couldn't see his specific instructions on modifying the apk.
APK Editor Pro+
- Select apk file
- Full Edit
- Partial Files
- Files (botton of screen)
- Smali (in blue, top right)
Sometimes you are given a path.. ie: smali_classes2/com/nathnetwork/orplayer/util/Config.smali
Sometimes you have to search for the string given in the instructions then use the "replace all on.."
Usually something similar to "yourhosthere.com/api/" maybe... Anyway, replace that with your panel's URL. (make sure to leave the /api/ at the end)
After you make your edits, back out of the search feature and click the build in top right (it's blue)
Test it out. If it just spins when it loads, double check the URL you used/entered AND/OR make sure the panel is built for that particular version of the app of course.
I think that is the edit part in a nutshell. Hope I didn't miss anything. I may have. I'm pretty new to this myself.
Should get you pointed to the panel at least.

PS: I don't enough about re-branding to be much help. But there are lots of posts with tid-bits of info here & there. Just read through some of the xciptv posts and you will see something about re-branding the app. I'm sure I've seen details somewhere...
