How old is the fire stick? Is it a recent one with the latest software? Or is it an old stick?

If its an old one, set the app SDK minimum to 17, and target to 30 or 31.

SDK 17 is low enough to work on older gen TV Fire Sticks.

Also, have you got developer options, install apps from unknow sources set to on?

Stick about 1 year old and yes unknown sources turned on app downloads OK tries to open then closes back to home screen thanks for reply

your post doesnt offer much info, as in.....
what xc722?....official, hardcoded, panelled etc etc, you got if from where?, if it's "modified" in any way were the "edits" done correctly? was it working on that device previously?, have you tried it on other devices?, have you tried another different v722 app from a different source or even tried other xc versions on that same device? and on, and on, and on............

without useful/more specific info it's honestly just a guessing game as to what exactly the issue might be and what solutions/steps will actually get it sorted

if you wish, maybe you could post the app to the forum(without your "identifiers" etc) and probably someone might be nice enough to check n see whats up with it(if anything), or you can do so in a pm with someone you trust or someone who is happy to help

Sorry Sky glass 722 with sports guide from here app and panel. Works on my Samsung phone , 4k stick ,and firestick lite with TV buttons .on generation 2 sticks app downloads opens then closes back to home screen thanks for your input

Gen 2s are more than a year old are they not? I think amazon have even stopped support for them they have always been troublesome
If the stick in question has the word amazon on it then its the older generation 1 or 2

It's the first of the firestick lites defo not gen 1 I've got a few customers using them. I'll just tell them to buy newer ones or they can't use lol. Thanks for info buddy just thought it might be a simple change

The way they numbered and named the devices is stupid to say the least but the tell tale sign is the logo on the stick itself , if it has the word "amazon" printed on the stick then its either first gen or second gen , these I think need to be replaced they may still work but have been surpassed by newer sticks that cost as little as under £30
Note the caption above says "from the bottom"? this is incorrect its from the top also the remotes have the word amazon on them ,the first gen does not have a mic button either.

Looks like they will be gen 2 you know what it's like getting customers to spend money lol. They will just have to miss out thanks again
