Which hoster can you recommend to me? Is there anything else to consider?

i tried a few myself but none would even hold a panel good enuf. i was thinking i would try free ones just for those dumb customers that think they need to test everything before they buy or want to see the panel options etc before they buy that way i could give them trial or something and they not know my real host address in case they were up to no good and was just trying to get my host info or something

Understand
I then do it like this. I used the smarters with 5 dns through different providers. The only problem is that sometimes the IPTV provider changes its DNS at some point and then the customer must download a new APP, because it no longer works with the old. I found a way to upload the changed APK via Mediafire so that the customer can still download the same download link for the new APP. So just tell the customer how to download the new APP and then give the credentials again. This is then the only way.

I didn't want to spend any more money myself now so that I can use a panel. But if you are advised not to use a free panel, I can understand that.

If you are selling apps this should easily make enough profit to purchase hosting and provide your customers a quality, ballache free product

Yes you mention your customers? One years sale to one customer would cover hosting for a year

i am reseller, i offer the app for free. I just want to reduce the work of always explaining to customers how to insert the new portal address. The problem with hardcoded apps is that the IPTV provider sometimes changes the dns after 1-2 years. This means that customers have to download and set up the app again. Works fine for many customers, but it takes a lot of time away from me if I always have to explain this.

For this privilege you pay for a good host and make a panel app, this is your answer

first off, the ease of app management and convenience of panels(amongst other advantages) are very good reasons to consider investing in a good host/panel option

as already suggested, free host does come in handy for stuff like testing, lightweight run, dummy setup, even a good way for "newbies" to learn/get an idea of webhost related stuff without worrying about breaking stuff - but in the end the initial point remains that investment in a good host presents advantages well worth your while

moving on and specific to the issue you described(hardcoded app n provider dns change) you can use web redirect(or similar) plus free domains to achieve your goal....
as in once you have the redirected domain in your apps you wouldnt need to "redo" your apps whenever providers change dns as you simply update the web redirect n provider dns from the dns management section of the free domain provider such as noip, cloudns etc etc

if you would like your server details leaked and customers ip addresses entering the wrong hands free is the way to go,

if you want to protect your customers and yourself paid hosting is the way to go, there are many many paid hosting providers that are really really cheap, example being hostinger etc,

if as you said , you would like to cut down om time explaining to customers 5-6 pound a month aint much, with panels you can also push out app updates so can kill 2 birds with 1 stone

Honestly now with the official implayer premium sub having a management panel for most task i just give them all implayer. I used to go through portal changes often and it is a pain with some clients who dont understand tech.
