I have seen a few people say it does not so am assuming they have a different version of APK Editor than I have managed toget my hands on and I have tried many ,many and still breaks , APK editor is good for pulling images but that is all i would use it for ATM,
so suspecting there is a version out there that does sign apks properly

Really depends what version.

True but to fix it. Extract a file and replace it. Example color.xml. once you replace that and sign it. Master search will work again

It has not done it with me, using the method I show in the video. Common edits for normal name changes then only change base64 with a partial file edit. I've done it using a couple different versions of APK Editor and multiple versions of Smarters. Sounds like you've got unlucky somewhere. Curious about this though. There's more than one way to skin a cat. Maybe I'm doing the edit slightly different to you? Can you try the way I do it in the video and let me know if it still does it?

APK Editor 4.1 doesn't seem to affect it. That's all I've used, have edited the same app 20+ times now editing xml hex value and images, and master search is working for me.

it depends what version of APK editor pro you are using I suppose
dont go by version numbers as they are all over the place
the app has to have the ability to sign the APK with at least key 2 possibly key 3
most versions of apk editor sign with key 1 only where as MT signs with key 3

this is what i am led to think but could be wrong

All APK editor I used from here after edit app sat package error .

Any app I make since this year I change the APK editor from all I found here and now present the problem package erro . And don't remember the version I used before. Mt manager it's ok but for IMG it's more complicated
