Anyone have any other hobbies aside from watching telly and playing with scripts?

I have mentioned elsewhere that I mess about with home automation stuff, namely Home Assistant and also with fruit machine emulation.

See I'm same with php I can do basic php but I couldn't do a full website based on it. Lord knows I've tried a few times haha.

I'm into radio, in particular the old offshore radio ships! like Radio Caroline, Laser 558 and Radio North Sea etc.
I know that makes me a bit of an anorak!

Automation is very cool. I have an arduino and made myself an automated doser for my plants... Also had it communicating w/ Alexa at one point turning my living room light off & on... Girlfriend doesn't really like it when I do that kinda stuff tho... lol

Mine has no choice lol! One thing I won't do though is have a smart spy -er, i mean speaker lol
