RESOURCE Newbie advice

Hi all, new to group so thanks for adding me. I'll apologise now if this is in the wrong place or I do anything wrong.

I'm looking at getting my player apps hosted on a server. I'm totally new to this and not sure how it all works.
At the moment I have a branded xciptv app which is hosted by the guy who made it for me(loads of issues at moment and apps are down). I have an hardcoded smarters app as a backup.
I am looking at two things, No1, I want to get another player app and was thinking of FCD player with panel access, and No2, possibly having this hosted on a paid server. What I really need is some advice on both of these, as I have no idea who to get them off or what server company to look at.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated, thank you.

Im fairly new to editing meself so best advice i’d give is to set up a free hosting page, familiarise your self with the basics of how a to create a website and hosting files.

Once you have that much set up id recommend upgrading to vip here which will give you access to a lot of apps and how to edit and host them.

Cheers, at the moment all my apks are on Dropbox and I have my own linktree for my customers to access my apps.

Firstly welcome pal. To get apps you need reactions or purchase VIP account to avail of any app listed here (see rules).

Depending on the XC version you have you need to look for relevant/compatible panel files and edit the dns within app to point to your own panel.

As for hosting panels etc you're best with buyfasthosting and a domain (cheap as chips).

Regarding FCD it is on here but i think requires some work to get your own firebase (explained within the FCD section) if not then you're best purchasing of someone who has their own firebase or ask admin for help on this matter. I may have it but not 100% will have a scurry through and get back to you on that matter.

Ok, most on here swear by buyfasthosting.com
Get your domain set up (go daddy or namecheap maybe)

From there you can upload your panel files, edit you panel to add your url.

Then edit apps to point the app to your panel.

Thank you, I've purchased vip I will check out buyfastholding now. I have the dns address of the panels so that's not an issue, it's just the hosting and fcd app itself. I can get fcd app made and hosted but want to look into having something hosted for me as a backup. If that makes sense .

Yea i get what your saying but at the same time I wouldn’t get hung up on the fcd app. Plenty of other apps you can get your lot set up with.
Some apps are easier to edit than others.
I’ve never used fcd myself.

Agree there is better apps than FCD such as neutro, Flix or IMplayer

Yeah gone with these guys Reaper Devil said its a CHpanel, so gone with that.
All I gotta work out now is what to do with all this stuff I've brought that everyone suggested as I didn't have a clue so at the moment I've got a hosting company, a domain name, and I've made a very basic website with WP.

Still trying to sort apps, got a couple I'm playing about with at mo. Just waiting for some info on how to edit into on one.

looking for some advice. i have set up panels on subdomains on buyfast, but now when i enter my domain, it shows up with all my subdomains(so anyone can access all of my panels). could someone give me some advice on how to sort this out. thanks
