INFO Kodi 20 Alpha - View VOD streams in PVR

In Kodi 20 Alpha there is a new feature that provides an alternative way of accessing IPTV provider VOD streams, which are listed under TV Recordings in Kodi. Although this is not yet a stable release this feature worked well in the tests I completed.

Why is there a not a hard coded version of kodi with only pvr simple client.

Would be a great player. Last version could pause a stream and rewind and forward.

Python is easy to edit and it could possibly be hardcoded.

Interesting - is this with PVR IPTV Simple Client Add-On? There's another add-on by a member posted here (plugin.video.iptvxc) that allowed you to browse VOD.
