After a lot of downtime over the weekend and great help from admins at BuyfastHosting I managed to get back into this app
because the app is well written it was easy to find things and then a lot of trial and error .
No matter if your editting 2.8 or 3.1 its the same method the app has had little tweaks and there at least four or five versions doing the rounds at the moment all slightly different with little quirks but underneath they are all the same very good indeed app.
on the surface it may seem there is not a lot to modify and bling up but there is if you start looking deeper.
There are quite a few things going on in the image below that i have changed from the default app , forget about the images they are just lipstick on a pig and make it look nice underneath its still the same IBO .
things you may want to consider doing:-
removing the shader over the main background ,
Removing the backgrounds to the icons
Removing the text from the icons
Resizing the icons to make them bigger
All the icons are resized by the app itself like in XCIPTV best way to expalin is in XCIPTV all icons and i mean all are 512 x 512 so squares the app will scale them down no matter what size you create them to what it requires , this app is the same so an icon that is 250 x 250 for example can be made at 500 x 500 swap it out with the 250x250 and the app will scale it .
Hint the icons are four different sizes
Anyway good luck with your theming

you will get out what you put in to it , spend a few hours and you will surprise yourself

livetv hugging all that space so resized to throw in 3 new slots (in this one cinema, plex n weyd join the party)

also "dressed up the pig" a lil more n threw in gif logo/bg, changed up app font, swapped out vlc player n couple other lil tweaks

all that aside, the ibo app itself plays stuff nicely n has been solid for many people for weeks n months, no wonder it has been getting a lot of praise n buzz in recent times..... well deserved too imho

loving what you have managed to change , the extra buttons are welcome along with the new layout would like to play with those
can I ask are the weyd ,cinema,plex links in app or panel ? would swap out plex for syncler
not to sure about background or animatted logo i like them but firestick users shit the bed when they see anim

weyd, cinema n plex are in app, kinda like you see in smarters cinema, xplayer vod etc, n ya syncler is solid as

was fun messing with loads of reload gifs(loading bar, running mario, dancing pikachu etc) for different themes n layout, something different than default one

ya, can see why some might immediately think gif apps are always resource heavy, however, firesticks 'should' adequately handle apps with gifs unless it's massive gif files, very old gen sticks or very low end devices..... largest gif in that one was the flame gif bg at 355kb and app size is 38mb (logo gif 70kb, reload gif 28kb)

love how font change makes things look so different, lots of stylish fonts to play with.... just gotta make sure one can actually read em though
also did several versions with date n time in main dash, live, movies n series as some love to see date/time within app

Does anyone know how to make the app update button work, I enter the url of the new version of the app that is in dropbox and save it in the app I click on update it shows that there is a new version available but it takes me to the play store I wanted to change it to download from the link that I insert in the panel, I can pay for the service
