i see :) the word complex put me right off :) end of the day an intro would be a nice option but not essential so will wait until someone makes it a straght file swap :)

I'm in the process of creating, but it's currently limited in time and will be delayed a bit

g'day @G-man , kinda know what you mean about ocd:D:ROFLMAO: when stuff looks more than a little non-uniform or misaligned lol
interested to know what you meant as per the question of ibo and swapping layout files like smarters

No, it was just a simple project, which cannot be taken over. If a change is desired, it will be gladly adapted.

its been mentioned on here that its possible to swap a layout from say v2 to v3 if the layout is a one off sort of thing ? not done it myself but i think its very doable , wondering if its possible to swap layout files in IBO ? should be possible the way IBO is put together

actually it wasn't even my idea, it was a request for a reseller and told him id look into it.

I want that older IBO so I can at least test this theory out. Havent been able to find it anywhere.

There is an IBO with side layout, that one is what I'm looking for

+ Menu navigation changed

+ Intro up to 11 seconds possible

Intro can be replaced under assets/.splashScreenFile

Keep .splashScreenFile(name).....

see what you mean now, thx g
if the ids and references are very close/similar between the versions then copying should be possible with few tweaks possibly still needing to be done as is the case between smarters v2 and v3

given that almost any layout from pretty much any app can be "replicated" (to different extents obviously), it wouldnt matter all that much whatever is in an app's previous version as a clean fresh layout backbone can be made by the user to look like whatever is desired anyway
admittedly, not a route for the faint hearted🤣 or anyone not sufficiently versed with such layout editing

heck, kodi skins/themes are very excellent sources of inpiration n they aint even a "typical layout" from an app, just a case of seeing the design n trying to create something half way similar lol..... plus ibo's lightweight size, smoothness n simplicity means there's room to go crazy having fun with different ideas n layout

example, here's one of several based on kodi's skin/theme... in this case eminence, with ads in full like kodi's style n using ibo as a control center/media hub and ibo as home launcher (à la purple as launcher app)
