The title of the thread may be slightly miss leading as this post will cover a bit more than video capturing on nvidia shield
Ok first a bit of back story , recently a friend of mine was chatting and saying he has ordered a video capture card to make videos for his clients
so it would be easier for people to understand things , so with that in mind I started to google this subject as normally i video capture in MEMU or NOX but this is not always ideal easpecially if you want to do specific things .
I came across two videos on youtube , one covers how to video capture on the Shield and the other how to swap files between a Shield and PC using the network share option ,it makes it easier to get the videos off the Shiled once they are captured , and of course when this is set up you can transfer APK files straight off your PC to the Shield and vica versa (previously to test an app I would upload to hosting then download on the Shield).

Much Kudos to SimplySmart123 for making these videos
This videos covers how to screen record on the Nvidia Shield

This video covers the file transfer between PC and Shield

So once i set these both up I needed to test them out :) so decided to use Sideloadlauncher 3 I use either SL2 or SL3 on all my devices to customise the front screens
It allows me to order apps how I like them i tend to put VOD apps on thier own row , live Tv on thier own row etc.
and have the recomended options at the top of the screen although everything can be moved around NOTE: I dont use SL as its intended to be used I use it to order my front end then close it but of course you can use it as intended :)
The video I didnt add audio or sub titloes etc. I just wanted to see what the results would be like , you could put the video through an editor and add audio over the top quite easily.

sideload launcher 2 and 3 are cheap and easy to use I would recomend getting at least one of them ,there is a modded version doing the rounds
I know it works on Android TV interface but not sure about Amazon devices etc. Same with the file transfer method not checked on Amazon.

Nice addition G-man. I went down this route as well for my in-depth customer video tutorials. The best solution that worked for me, was very easy in fact, I simply purchased a AGPTek Video Capture device. It works flawlessly for me for the last 4 years or so. Nice mic input so I can narrate the tutorial etc.

Might be helpful to other's, you can find it on Amazon and other sites I assume
"AGPTek HD Video Capture"
