what do you mean with “for appstore apps”
and what os is the tv? all tv are not the same so you have to specify what brand it is

I keep checking this thread its a bit like planting some seeds and waitting for them to sprout 
I am assuming the poster wants an app from the app store (google playstore) to work native on his TV without a box or stick ?
and probbaly free without a subscription ?

I think so
this last year there was a lot of app in LG and Samsung. most of this are flix based and with a lot of bugs. some of these flix based are free or started as free and after a while asking for a licence.
i am going to avoid all these flix based apps and point with smarters but your iptv provider should have a dns registered in smarters website.
or there some very nice and cheapest app that with only 2€ smartone or duplecast 2,5€ that are very nice, specially if you are a reseller.
unfortunately duplex close the selling of activation code, but you can find in internet for about 5/6€ for 1 year activation.
no way to install apk from playstore o alternative store on these smart tv samsung or lg.

I often wonder why people spend a ton on a smart TV yet dont spend another £50 on a semi decent streaming device ?
I mean if you bought the smart tv for IPTV push the boat out a little more
I have smart TVs in the house full Android etc. and after the initial setup on day one i have never gone back and looked at them ,
but a nice little device and it will out perform your TV well in most cases it will
honestly a cheap firestick will work better than a stand alone tv.
