Hi folks. This may sound like a silly question, but I’m hoping someone can confirm. Does it matter if you edit using apk editor pro ++ , or MT Manager?
Is one app more powerful or reliable than the other? I use apk editor a lot. I’m just wondering is MT Manager better?
I’ve ran into some issues using apk editor. I’m wondering should I be using MT instead?
Any help or information would be much appreciated. Thanks

So there are upsides and downsides to all of the editors and the are all better for different things. I use APK editor pro for changing images mostly because it makes it nice and easy in simple edit, but because it doesn't decompile the whole APK it can brake the APK a bit especially search functions like master search in smarters but it also breaks tivimate mate search and probably OTR as well. I like APKTool-M my self it does pretty much everything but APK editor pro still replaces pictures better.

first off, if it aint broke dont fiddle with it.....so if you've got n use what works for you then all good (especially as some may find mt kinda intimidating n confusing to begin with..... and not everyone would care for or even use other mt "advanced" functions/tools)

second, you may have noticed that for some apps it's recommended to use mt as some other methods may give issues with said app

for some people it may be easier doing some things like batch image editing, app/pkgname n sdk version change etc using apkeditor(simple n common edit)

simply put, mt is a beast
from plain editing of app strings, dex, creating new res,....to the wide range of functions n tools to enhance n explore apps.....it can handle so much

mt n apkeditor are not in the same league, as mt is in a whole different world when it comes to "depth of functionality" on apk editing tools

Thanks for the in depth reply. That explained things a whole lot better for me. Very much appreciated!. I do admit, MT is rather confusing. Say I had an app, and apk editor pro edited everything that I needed. Host url, pics, intro, everything. But the second I go into common edit to change the app name, and recompile, the app crashes. What's the story there? Any help?

as you may(or may not) know, changing the appname of some apps may require additional steps like also changing the appname in libs or dex, base64 or matching an exact pattern like with neutro
some other apps like ottnav requires even much more.....

so without much detail on your specific situation it's reasonable to suggest it might be one of those things given that you said app worked ok after other edits and only crashes upon name change edit
