Problem Parsing the Package

I've just setup my first 2nd Gen 4K Max stick. However one app which has always worked with no issues in the past, now displays a "There was a problem while parsing the package" error. I've attempted to change the target sdk from 30 to 31 and the minimum from 17 to 21. Along with also changing the package and app name with the correct base 64 methods.

Is the app too old for the new 2nd Gen 4K Max device, or can this be resolved?

It's an older hardcoded smarters. It's only a backup app I install, but would be nice to know why the new 2nd Gen 4k's won't allow it.

May be due to how it was modified originally that is not Compatible with A11.

if doesn't work the app itself needs modding to fit android 13/ new max stick

I've just set minimum & aim sdk both as 28, and it seems to have installed on my Samsung mobile for the first time. Will give it a test on the new 4K Max now.

i set all my apps now min 29 target 33

I'll still save my original apk so I have both options. Have a similar issue I came across today when installing an xciptv version I put together on the original 1st gen 4k max. It's a fun game this

I changed the target to 28 min was already 19 . I'm no expert but it got my app store working on new 4k and 4k max sticks which previously gave me parsing error.
