App icon quality

Just a quick question to those who might know. I've one app that no matter how many times I change or edit the quality, the icon/launcher image always ends up pixilated and blurred. The images work well in other apps, just this one it seeme to display poor. Is there some kind of setting within apps that can alter the quality of the launcher icons?

had this once with a version of xciptv , only seemed to be for that version
what app is the launcher icon for and what are the original dimensions before you changed it ?

Smarters pro. Original dimensions were 432x432 which still held a good quality image. Even if I use existing icons from other apps, it pixilates them.

most launcher icons smarters use are either square as you mention above 432 x 432 could be 500 x 500 etc
OR they are 500 x 544 or derivitives of those dimensions ?
going through and also have
192 x 192
300 x 300
480 x 514

have found on a few of the versions i have

what editor are you using to make the image change? have you tried using mt manager?
if the launcher icon/logo of your smarters is in "mipmap" then have a look within all the mipmap folders in your apk to see how the images look and if any of them appears blurred or poor quality then simply swap out whatever doesn't look right using mt (same idea if the launcher icon is in drawable or if you choose to "point" it to drawable folder)

good call in sparkle to add the image on log in screen if i use apke editor image will swap but its pixellated , use MT and it comes out ok

I've been using apk editor as it replaces in all necessary image locations. Was having a browse with Mt manager earlier, though, so it could be a good shout changing them seperately in the folder locations.
