I also noticed that not all layouts are edited the same. Anyone who wants to use the app should keep that in mind.

Ads could be made a bit larger. After all, there's plenty of room for them.

But somehow I can't get excited about Smarters.

For the package name also need to mod the AndroidManifest.xml and for the tmdb banners place the file adpage2.php in /api/ for better results use the provided panel

Thanks again for the information. I just have one last quick question:
I’m trying to find out how to change the border color of the covers so I can better see which one is selected when I'm browsing on my TV.
Right now, there’s a very transparent background, but it’s barely visible.
I’d like to know where I can change this color.
If anyone can tell me where to modify it, I’d really appreciate it in advance

As already written, this Smarters has many bugs

This one with focused is also one of those errors.

It's possible to fix this, but it requires some work and knowledge.

Yes, I understand, that’s why I was already trying to fix the issue related to the focus — the part where you added the red border in your screenshot.
But I’d like to know exactly which file I need to look at to fix the problem and make the border work with a color.

I wrote an XML that defines focused and unfocused. I then recreated this XML in the app and gave it a new ID. You need to save this XML in Drawable. In the layout, replace the path with the XML instead of the PNG.

You then have to edit the focused png, for example with Paint, and give the png a frame.

This is how you can repair it and you do this with all where you want to have a frame.

I've asked a few times about this issue with subtitles and v4.x
I've also spent a few hours trying to sort it out, without any luck

At this point, I'm willing to hire someone to provide a v4 working, with subtitles

I dont think subs work with default player You need to add VLC player as external player once you do it appears when you select play VLC probably the best for subtitle support , easy enough to install VLC
SIDENOTE: Think it was Smarters that used to come with VLC pre installed as default player but that changed a while ago now so you have to load VLC in settings once only.

As G-man already wrote, it is best to switch the built-in player to VLC Player.

Yeah, even with that enabled, using built-in player, there is no where to select or even see the subtitle tracks
It's just one of those things.. that sticks with me and bugs me... being "forced" to use an external player to take advantage of Subtitles...
All good though, I appreciate everyone's time, and efforts here !

I just did this on the side at work. It must have been here:
new_hp_subtitle_layout.xml
new_hp_subtitle_layout_mobile.xml
