Has anybody came across issues with regards to xcip apps being sluggish and crashing out leaving square blocks where film image thumbnails should be on 4k firesticks? Only seems to be with the 4k sticks as normal 3rd gen and lite seem to have no issues at all. 🤷‍♂️

Thanks.

Not had that specific issue, but have had a few xc803 complaints, I just lowered the sdk to 29, and the 4k firesticks are fine

The firestick 4k is only running android 7 and the 3rd gen runs android 9, I find lots of things run slower on them these days and you do seem to need to change the sdk to 29 to help them run better.

You'd think the 4k with the extra ram etc would be bullet proof.

My way, apk editor Pro,

Installed app.
Choose app.
Common edit.
Change target sdk to 29.
Save
I'm using MT Manager so will the target sdk be located in the AndroidMmanifest as i can see target sdk but has no number to change?

There also seems to be a timeout issue with some services with the later xciptv from 801 onwards ,

Just standard 4k ultra not the max. Hopefully it's the android software mentioned above and can be fixed with the sdk. It does work, just can throw a wobbler from time to time and crash out, which only happens on these version of 4k sticks.

fingers crossed it does the job... have you tried to see if there is an update on the firestick (if your like me you will blocked auto updates) just trying to give a few other options
