Easiest way to explain would be that your dns for the service isnt exposed, if someone want's to use the app for another service all they will see is the link to your panel, plus depending on the app and panel you can control thing's like the background, sport schedule, advert etc in app, but it depends on which panel and app that's used.

I would like to use sparkle. But in the URL do I put in the the DNS for the service that I use ? Also I only use it for my friends and co-workers and doesn't bother me if they see the DNS service that I use..

Hi I just spent some time reading and still confused a bit can you please explain what you mean by search for your panel? Is this the panel that is included in the download? And do I need a file hosting website to use this?

Yes, for a panel you need a hoster or a VPS server (not a file hoster)
