REQUEST Smarters v3 with ads & plex button

ive seen a smarters with ads and a plex button so i know it can be done, question is have any of you gents done it?

it looked like smarters with cinema button but ive no idea how to change it to plex instead
anybody got a link would be appreciated!

If you already have smarters with cinema. Just search for the package name and replace with the Plex package name. Then change the icon on drawable.

Kinda doesn't make sense to me as to why people are doing this as regardless you still need both apps installed? But as above package name change will sort the job

because the people going to be using this app, are about a bright as a worn out candle
easier i can make it the better!

Quick one before bed
g$a file where you would normally put your redirect to your panel
bottom string is HDbox just put the package name of the external app you want to launch
you have to have the correct app and panel of course but if you have the cinemahd one just change it to the plex package name

So which panel allows you to Launch installed apps by putting the package name in the panel redirect file? Is it the ANS exclusive Cinema and smarter's panel that makes this possible or can the same thing be done with the V2 V3 panel?

The panel does not launch installed apps the string is in the apk itself so the external launch command is in the apk as well , i know there is a panel floating around that lets you set the image name and image on the panel but it has not crossed my palms yet so you will need the correct apk that has for instance cinemahd and works with a panel (although the panel does not do anything with external app)

having a plex based server on top of the usual, its ideal to have the plex button in the main apk.
ideal to beable to change it from my end should i decide to switch everyone to emby for instance

just got round to having a go at this, how do i find the plex package name?

Wondering if someone could help me with a bit of advice on this one.. I have a version of smarters with the custom app launch widget. I want to replace another one of the buttons with a second app launch widget. I have copied the FTGLaunchApp smali and renamed everything to FTGLauchAppTwo. On the dash I have ( as a test ) renamed the the button opener to FTGLaunchAppTwo etc and addead another line of code under the gSmali file with a different letter and package to open. It just crashes when I press the button. Does anyone have an idea of where I may be going wrong?

Why do you want to launch two apps from inside of smarters ?
Smarters is not a launcher , wolf launcher does a good job also if you have a good version of FCD you can customise all buttons to launch any app ,The image below is one i did but never used i just wanted to see if i could do it ,
all links are working , the live tv opens tivimate the series and movies are part of an iptv service , the five bottom icons all work and launch external apps , this was made as a launcher but not much used as so people used it as a stand alone app, this app and panel are on here as well.

Thanks G-Man, did take a look at FCD and looks like a configurable app, that I will certainly mess about with, it doesnt really fit my needs. The reason I wanted 2 custom buttons on the smarters Dash was so I could link one to open Plex and one to open a vod app. I do, however realise that what I am asking may well be a bit too much to ask as those with the know how do this for a living, so understand if no one wants to point me in the right direction.. The last thing im going to try is creating a seperate lauch app button in a seperate project, compile and inject into the smarters app and see how that works. Thanks all anyway..
