Starting to think that maybe we downloaded different panel files that don't work with VPN, I believe I read something on the thread about something like this, that the post was updated with some differences in the files. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Maybe as everything work except vpn and it would be nice to get this working

I'm using surfshark too, but my issue is not getting the .zip from the panel. Because if I put the .zip on my sd card and import it on smarters app everything works ok.

Maybe your panel can’t take zip file try unzip and upload a file on your panel

Try Ipvinish or nord maybe something wrong with your panel or maybe you using surfshark wrong file let try

But how can I upload to panel it wont let me from computer? I have also just tried Ipvanish with came result there as to be a issue with panel files?

If his issue is like mine you can use that same url on panel, download the file, add it to smarters and it will work.
What doesn't work is the file download, the app never gets it from the url on the panel.

If you can't make VPN work (network error):

To view the content, you need to Sign In or Register.

If you can't make VPN work (network error):

First, OVPN option/button on panel isn't needed. The url field can be blank.

You just need to create a folder on your panel root folder called 'vpn' and then just copy all your .ovpn files inside.
The panel will make the .zip on it's own and you will get it on the app.
Panel folder structure will look like this:

You my friend are a Gent works a treat so there must be an issue with vpn.php file where it does not work on panel side??

are you using surfshark as well? have you had any luck in updating certificate to add user and pass for vpn?

No, it seems all is working as intended code wise, I got the solution by analysing the vpn.php code, so we just needed to know where to put the files...What isn't needed and just confuses people is the OVPN option on the panel.

Next I'll try to hardcode the vpn login details, as wouldn't even release the app to final users and ask people to have to insert username and pass to be honest.
