As the app is panel based which then goes via the dns
Sorry I'm at work so take a bit of time to reply.
I'm just thinking along the lines of mine.
I have a pie setup for my banners and sports guide, yesterday I lost both even though the ddns was correct and still pointing. Later I found out it was a hikvision camera port 80 redirected using hikconnect. Not sure if you are hosting your own or going through one of the lads servers here

this sometimes will happen if your service is rebuilding their vod databases due to upgrade/update/change of something like dns etc.
easy way to check is if you have access to two services , run them both on same panel and same app ,and check if one is pulling images
