Parsing Package Error Firestick.

Hey guys, I'm after some advice on a firestick error I'm receiving when trying to install apk's. This device in particular I have set up in the past but upon trying to install new apk's I receive a "there was a problem parsing the package" error? I decided to do a full reset of the stick and yet still it displays this error, even on the original older apk's I had installed before.

have you's looked at the developer settings, are they still present?

Yeah its the exact same apps I install all the time with no issues. Tried uninstalling apps already on the sticks and replacing with the exact same ones but even they now show errors. Confirmed by other users also.

are they latest edition sticks?

Yes, I've tried on 3rd gen lite, 3rd gen and 4k max. All come up with parsing error on install for apps that have always worked

Other users have just notified me of the same errors upon install attempts. Hopefully just a downloader issue and will be resolved asap.

Are your links from Dropbox? If yes then that's your issue. They're are problems with it today.

I had the same problem with my shield using Downloader but when I copied the apk over from my phone to the device it installed fine. The file was hosted at Dropbox and I used Downloader but I didn't have time to troubleshoot if it was Downloader or Dropbox. Good to know it's not just me.

I think it's fixed now
