Play about with the SDK and make sure you change the App Name in both Smali (Base64) and ARSC I ran into this issue with Live TV working but no VOD was playing. think I set SDK to 29 or 30 using APK editor

I had an issue with vod though until I made sure the app name was changed in both base64 and arsc bud, initially I quickly changed the app name using apk editor which gave me errors

I get this too on live streams they dont stop playing as the app is still running

If you click on something else like movies or series it stops, its just when you have sound going and just hit the home button.

Did you update the libraries or just left them as is? I was going to compile it with the libraries from the official app.

I do, but I've just told all users to close app off properly, there should be a way to stop it playing in the background, I'll have a play about when I get a minute

It is strange as I didnt have this issue when making the changes for my own app but I rebranded one for a reseller and no VOD was working so I changed the name in Base64 in smali first, then changed the name in ARSC and also signed it in APK editor afterwards to make sure it was 100% changed, then he had no issues. I also changed the User Agent I can't remember exactly where I found the user agent but I think searching for it in smali brought it up, forgot to mention the user agent earlier.

are you sure your service dns has not changed ? the app is still working fine for me

Yes that was the first thing I check . And I re do app and same issues
