REQUEST Info request - Looking to move from using Hardcoded to Panel

Hi Everyone,

Looking for advice on moving from using Hardcoded apps to using a panel.

Have a couple of questions...

1. How much money should I expect to spend to get initial server set-up and monthly payments on going?
2. I need to some help on getting it initially set-up. I have tried previously but I get stuck, so is there any threads I can be pointed to as a dummies guide that I might be able to see where I am going wrong. Its more on the server side I struggle.

It would be nothing crazy to start with 50/100 users accessing my apps.

There's no real step by step guide to be honest bud as all hosting is different I'd recommend avoiding hostinger despite it being recommended as they're malware scanner detects false positives I don't mind assisting once you get yourself a domain registered

Get a vps with a good company. If you don't know how to set it up alot companies set it up for an extra fee maybe 50-100 you can also get managed vps for an extra cost with some companies. Cpanel seems to be the most popular control panel, I'm currently using cyberpanel and works very well

I have gone with IONOS for the hosting, I tried to install cyberpanel but it doesn't work on debian 10 which is the OS on the server, so I am stuck again! I am using putty for SSH. Don't know if you can point me in the right direction

Putty for SSH is correct, does the host not have options for Ubuntu 22?

I have created a new VPS with Ubuntu 22 and have installed Cyberpanel. Created a database, added user with privileges, I have added the onepanel 1.4 files and updated the db.php, i'm stuck again now... think I may have missed a step somewhere.... Thanks again for supporting me on this.

I'm not entirely sure with cyberpanel as I use AApanel but you need to create a blank MySQL database if you haven't already? Feel free to PM me I will happily install this for you on AApanel rather than cyber
