INFO how to make android icons show correct on your PC

By default my PC was showing android icons linked to what ever app i was using to edit so all my Android icons were displaying like this :-

Not a massive issue more like a ball ache
so I did a bit or research and found this little script that once run ,displays your android icons like this :-

a lot easier to remember if you have a lot of apps on your PC...................I have a lot


DOWNLOAD APP HERE
(updated link to GIT hub)
unpack and run the install.bat in the main directory and thats it ​

CAN you please check since running this script that you can still download apk files in your pc browser ? I think it somehow messed it up ? Opera is only one I can get working all others close

LATEST VERSION HERE

there is a newer version out of this app
with this installed I can download anything apart from APK files , only browser lets me download APKs is opera
but as soon as I uninstall it I can download APKs in any browser so something my end is conflicting

I am running windows 11 so thinking it may be something to do with that ? its was a clean install last week
(newer version looks a lot cleaner code wise) also removes the little green android man on the icons
