@G-man does beautiful "graphic" edits to apps n from time to time posts useful tips n info so you may(or may not) find some of his posts/threads relevant to your needs(depends on what you want to do as it isn't clear from your post)
use the search with his name and words like "icon" to see several posts from him, example pic below

on a "broader" note, depending where you want to start and your current knowledge or skill level you would have to search the forum further for topics relating to the aspect of "graphic editing" you want to do, for example stuff like changing icons, logos n images is typically a simple case of swaping the existing item in the apk with your desired item of the same dimensions (discussions which you'll sometimes find within threads of the apk).... whereas "adding" features like gif backgrounds n icons, webview banners n posters etc requires couple changes to xml and/or smali code

summary; "search" is your friend, you've gotta go through threads relevant to your need
