yes, copy the layout of the epg id section n paste in rl_settings section in whatever position you wish for the 7*freetrail.xml and 1*freetrail_tv.xml files
remember to change epg layout parameters like padding, width, height etc to match with icons in the top row or to position it how you like
you can use android studio so you'll immediately see how it looks as you make changes/edits

ps, if you only intend to use your app on tv devices like cube etc then you can get away with editing only freetrail_tv.xml and ignore the other seven freetrail.xml layouts

This project builds on the ideas of others, just like most panels and the original devs theprogram's helped a ton, dude's smart.

I want to make a dashboard that works for everyone and is easy to use. I want a place where you need to log in once and be able to do it all with a few clicks, and not have to rely on 20 bookmarks and different passwords. I know not everyone knows how to host or configure servers or mess with code. That's where I step in to enhance the user experience.

Just remember, nothing is free, developers always protect their work. You have to decide if it's safe or not. I customize the code to fit my needs, but I'm not a security expert, so sometimes I ask others for help. Making a dashboard isn't that hard, but you need some knowledge. You also have to be willing to break things and fix them to learn. I often find myself asking FTG, EGG, and others in the higher standard spectrum for advice. It's imperative to always credit those who have helped, not because you should but because it's the right thing.

Giving yourself credit for something you didn't create; I mean you can but think about it, when you need that help who is going to help you? I understand the aspect of the forum is to share, and sometimes take work that was not meant to be given away. But I still have morals and won't step that low and/or on anyone that does not deserve it.

Do you know how I can make it not show the intro, in version 1 of ads it was in smali changing an entry from v0 to v1, but in this one I don't know the path

replace the splash.mp4 with a blank video res/raw/

Good question wonder myself. It lags the loading of the app. If someone can help with the location that be great. I don't want to use a blank .mp4 doesn't help.

Nice one. Do you fancy sharing exactly what you did. I am trying this with the kind information from nowax, but all I get is a broken screen on boot. So, after the intro its just white, which is what I was getting when I enabled the id_epg before. Do this icon and id need to go right after the logo with padding to push it over to the right?

Thats great mate. Yes, I thought thats what I needed to do. This is kind of what I did before and got a broken layout ( White screen) so should this be placed right next to the logo with the relavant constraints to push it over to the right?

Also, I have to remove all the missing classes temp in android studio to get the GUI to load. The icon loads fine in the AS window, but when I recompile, sign and install just getting a white window, but I have only tried puttting the icon in the the linerar layout. Is that where I am going wrong?

so it's the epg linear layout you need to cut and paste, for example, after tv_radio text view (the section starting with

as for switching id in dex, you end up losing multi as it wouldnt move multi to the topright section as you suggested in your initial post of putting multi at the top n epg in multi position
if you dont mind losing multi on main dashboard just swap multi id 0x7f0b0589 with epg id 0x7f0b022b in dex newdashboardactivity

Also, One last thing, I tried re-enabling the live search as you have too, but same again breaks it. Did you just paste the code into the RL_SETTINGS layout for that too?

Yea you lose it in the main screen. But you can still use it when selecting a live channel. It works out

Search is just set to hidden. Use android:visibility"visible"
